With over 20 years of experience in e-commerce, I combine strategic thinking with technical implementation. I enjoy working on topics that need some patience – complex product data, messy processes or missing automations.

As Head of E-Commerce, I led teams, built shops from installation to SEO optimization, and developed multi-channel strategies. As a Developer, I build custom tools, PIM systems and interfaces – from A to Z.

I like to see how things connect – data, processes, people. Often there's a simpler way.

Just Do It

Rather try than plan forever. A quick test often shows more than long discussions.

What I've Learned

It doesn't matter how expensive your tools are or what grades you got in school. What matters is your idea and the will to make it happen. The best kitchen doesn't cook by itself – and the best AI builds nothing meaningful without your vision. Believe in what you want to achieve. Dream big. The rest follows.

My Story

From Crisis to Transformation

The Shock

When ChatGPT hit the market, I was thrilled. Finally AI for everyone! But then the realization hit me like a punch: My 25 years of experience were suddenly just worth a prompt. Anyone could access with a few words the knowledge that took me decades to build.

The Dark Phase

I was devastated. What am I worth if a machine delivers in seconds what took me years? This question haunted me for months. At 52, I suddenly felt obsolete.

The Insight

Then came the turning point: Instead of just using AI, I can learn how AI works. My experience isn't worthless – it helps me understand where automation truly makes sense. Technical knowledge alone isn't enough. You also need to know which problems are worth solving.

The Restart

At 52, I gathered my courage and started fresh. 14 months of intensive AI Engineering training. Not to fear AI, but to truly understand it. My goal: Help companies use AI in meaningful ways – with 25 years of E-Commerce knowledge and fresh AI know-how.

Away from code and commerce, I am a passionate photographer – whether products, events or weddings. The camera is my creative outlet.

As a child of the C64/Amiga era, I learned to make a lot out of little technology. This mentality shapes me to this day: pragmatic, resource-efficient, solution-oriented.

Currently I am fascinated by Robotics (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), AI systems and everything that can be "brought to life".
